Well here we go time for a Fresh Start. I’m sure you will all agree that trying to start blogging again at 35 weeks pregnant makes total sense!
However I felt a sudden urge to start this blog up again. Especially as I am at a completely different stage in my life to when it first started.
The Amazing and The Awful
I can’t quite believe it but it has been almost 3 years since I last posted anything on here. In that time my life has completely changed for both the fantastic and the not so great.
Let’s start with the amazing. In March 2017, I gave birth (well ended up with an emergency c-section after going for a regular midwife appointment) to my beautiful baby girl and a whole new and remarkable chapter of life as a Mummy well and truly began! I think I might write my birth story as a post so if you would like to read that please let me know
Then for the awful. In August 2017 my wonderful Dad passed away – from a very sudden stroke – he went from absolutely fine to taken away from us in just over 24 hours. I still can’t quite get my head around it. I find it particularly hard that my daughter will never know him properly. However I am happy that my Dad got to meet her and I have 5 months of happy memories with them both.
Fast forward to May this year (2018) and I discovered I was pregnant again. Baby Girl No.2 is due in January 2019. I have my fingers crossed we will get into the New Year before she makes an appearance but who knows.
Planning and Parenting
So what can you expect from this reboot?
The main focus shall be Planning and Parenting as this is what my life consists of now.
I originally found the planning community in 2015. It is a fantastic source of inspiration. I recently restarted my Printable Sticker Shop Fairly Organised Chaos and love to watch other Planner Addict’s You Tube Videos.
Now that I am a full time Mummy to a 20 month old and another one on the way. (Yes I shall have the dreaded 2 under 2) I shall be writing about various ‘Mummy things’ although I am unsure as of yet how they will manifest themselves.
If you have made it to the end of this post thank you very much and I look forward to starting this journey with you again!
